Daily Walk: Chicago Winter

This is what we woke up to this morning. There is no denying Chicago winter is finally here.
The dogs lumbered around in the snow.
We saw a lot of fresh-coated trees:
The irony of snowed-in bicycles:And looking forward to a lot of fires in the fireplace:

brr snow no thanks! I left the northern midwest and alaska behind me (for now!). Baily won't do out in the snow, or rain.

Miss M absolutely hates the snow. She would barely walk and was all too happy to turn around. Mr. B. on the other hand was happily plowing through everything. He was even hopping around on 3 legs, when ice got stuck between his paws, but he didn't want to go back inside.

Since I just sold my house this be will the first winter in 12 years that I won't get to enjoy a fireplace. I loved it and so did the cats, they would lie down right next to the hearth and I don't know why they didn't burn up!
Poor Ms M! I feel for her.

Ha, love the fireplace photo. I imagine having dogs to walk is a great motivator to get outside and experience the city, winter weather and all. Kinda like having bikes, except pups are way cuter :)
