Pooches: Daily Walk in 10 Pictures 06.09.10

Ms. M is mean muggin for the camera. She wants everyone to know that she is not one of those dogs that say they are from Chicago but really grew up in the suburbs. Again, acting tough by trying to tear apart this "tiny stick" as she puts it.Gave up and went for the smaller parts of this tiny stick.
As her favorite group, NKOTB, would sing, she is hanging tough with her stick and funky song. With her stick, Ms. M watches us and makes sure we get her her money.Back on the streets with Mr. B leading the way. Don't know if he knows where we are going or if he is attracted to the smell of urine under the El tracks.
Ms. M representing in front of Saint Alfred.
While A was getting flowers and cheese from the farmer's market, the pooches were trying to find shade under the park bench.
Mr. B resting under the park bench, while we sat and ate cheese and watched a young guy for over an hour move from bench to bench, striking up a conversation with every and any girl and striking out. Poor guy just needs a dog. During that time, the pooches struck up a conversation with over a dozen people.
On our way home to get ready for the Hawks game, go Blackhawks!

NKOTB is my favorite band too! That poor guy really does need a dog. Chicks dig dogs!

Oh Ms. M we love that expression! Trying to look tough on the streets? BOL good idea for choosing a smaller stick. You would have gotten overheated carrying that thing around. We enjoyed our walk with you guys today. Have fun

Ms. M is too funny with that "stick," Molly does the same thing too though. If it's not at least 6 feet long it's not worth it :P

I think it's Most Unfortunate for Miss M that her mean muggin' is still squee-dorable! Although I am most impressed with her stick. And oh!...I very much enjoyed the picture of the two doggie butts stickin' out together.

That is just fantastic. I keep forgetting to grab my camera when we go out walking.
And I'm kind-of afraid my version will be completely boring.
But we'll see...

Ms. M is tooo cute! Love that first picture of her next to the flowers.

Do you know NKOTB has been stuck in my head for the last week?! "the right stuff". OI! hehehe
Ms.M's expression in that first picture is great!
And I love the picture of the two of them trying to get under the bench!

Oh, and one more thing. Jason had found the B&B we stayed at, I'll have to check with him how he found it... I think he was just googling B&B's in Victoria/Vancouver Island and came across it.
But there are a few websites for finding pet friendly places.
http://www.bringfido.com/ is one.

Miss M is totally judging me! She knows I lied about my weight on my driver's license!

Love the pictures of Ms. M trying her best to look tough with that little stick!
I am so jealous that you get to walk your dogs in the city because there's so much to see and so many people to meet!
Thanks for your comment about Scorch's 3rd Annual Paws For A Cause! You are right! He sure did come up with a crazy way to raise money for dogs...God bless him!
I don't know if you heard but I started a Book Giveaway on Monday and if you are interested in joining in on the fun, please do!

Well duh, everybody knows that doggies are much better at making pals than silly humans. Golly, if it weren't for me I don't think momma would have any friends.

You are so clever to at least cool off your large brains under the bench. Better to have a baked hiney than a cooked head.

Oh, I love that top picture and the ones with the graffiti. Well, they're all good but I love those the best. I miss taking walks in the city. Being a suburban dog is nice in many ways and I'm very happy with the humans I adopted, but there's no question that walkies were more fun in Brooklyn. So many more people to meet, sidewalks to walk on, dogs to sniff.

The Divine Miss M never takes a bad picture! I'm sure she just let that stick off with a warning since she was in a good mood.

We'd have been happy to find a hint of sunshine on our trip to the farmer's market! I'm glad they found that bench. Now I'm hungry for cheese!

I wish my sister understood the strategy of meeting guys with her dogs! *sigh*

Me too, born and raised in Chicago. But often mistaken for a suburban dog.

So cute! I love it when dogs carry things while they are on walks. Sometimes the shelter dogs grab something from their apartment for their walk and end up dropping it halfway through. I end up carrying the bone/ball/rubber chicken the rest of the way. Oh well. Levi is WAY too interested in sniffing everything to want to carry something.

when we stop to get money with the pups, Mesa jumps up and puts her paws right where the money comes out. Maybe she's trying to tell me something...
