Pooches: Deja-vu Mr. B

Just like Linus with his blanket, Mr. B has developed a velcro-addiction to his stuffed toys. He knows how bossy Miss M is, and he keeps them in his sight at all times:
And even keeps his collection stored in his tepee:
The problem Mr. B faces each day is to leave his precious toy collection to go on his walk. Check out Deja-vu Mr. B trying to take his bone on our walk.

Mr B is so cute with that big yellow bone in his mouth!
Sherman feels the same way with his one toy! Sometimes he even sneaks it out of the house with him!

It's strange to hear you call him Bruno. I always think of him as Mr. B.

Where did you get the adorable stuffed bone?

So cute! Great pics. There was a pug in this neighborhood that used to walk with his giant stuffed bone. It cracked me up every time I saw it. I could have had the worst day in the world and pass that pug walking down the sidewalk, and it would put a big smile on my face.

My feline sister does this with my toys! She takes them and hides them under the bed.

aw Mr. B is Bruno just like ours! I used to want to change his name after we rescued him but now I am so partial to it!!

Orange Sugar--We're not really sure where to get the big bone; it was a gift from his dogwalker. We have 2 in the house and he is always playing with it.

We like the mystique of Mr. B and Miss M--though we do think his real name (that the rescue gave him) is quite fitting for his brawn.

Adorable!! Emmett used to have a bear named Rupert that he tried to take EVERYWHERE. Walks, the vet, the park... and we let him until the thing got so foul that it got chucked. Nothing else has held his fancy as much as Rupert!

Oh, Mr. B. You are just the CUTEST! And oh-so-smart, too, for making sure YOUR toys are nearby so Miss M can't snatch 'em.

So cute! It reminds me of a lab I used to see out once in a while who brought his stuffed bunny along on walks.

my ((pit bull) Sharona also like to take her favorite toy outside and on walks. She drops it eventually but picks it right back up when she gets back in the house.

awww, mr. b, poor guy! he wants to take his big yellow bone with him so badly!
asa likes to do that with her nylabone sometimes. she'll try to take it outside with her in the backyard, and every now and then, she'll try to sneak it into the car when she goes for a ride.

That is so funny. When I ask Kirby if he wants to go on a walk, he will get excited, grab a toy and run down the stairs, usually dropping the toy and chasing it as it falls down the stairs.

Love your treat jar ideas!

Awwww...stuffies are the best!

Put his toy up high, where he can see that Miss M can't get it while he's gone. Then give it back to him as soon as you get back. He'll quickly learn to trust that his stuffie is protected. Unless she just ignores the stuffies entirely?

Mr. B is so cute! Ahhh, that little happy face! I can understand why he feels the need to keep an eye on his toys with Ms. M's monster paws in the area!

There are some dogs at the shelter who insist on walking with toys. Sometimes it's great because they don't try to play tug with the leash, but some of them just drop the toy and I end up having to carry it the entire time. They are cute though because there's a laundry basket with toys by the door and I like to see which one they choose to take.
