Pooches: The Goofy vs Pluto Effect

Everyone always jokes about the inequity of Goofy and Pluto.
They are both dogs. But definitely not equal.
Goofy wears clothes! Talks! Walks on two legs!
While poor just a dog. With a collar and not even a warm coat for the winter.
Little did we realize that we had our very own Pluto and Goofy:
In our house, Mr. B is the dog, and Miss M considers herself to be something more than a dog.
She thinks she is our equal. And that she owns her very own dog: Mr. B.
Miss M has complicated thoughts and plots against us.
Like Goofy, Miss M is her own stylist and has a strong opinion about what she wears.
Like Pluto, Mr B is completely clueless and wears whatever is placed on him.
And he doesn't even realize he has it on.
Miss M is very confident and voices her distaste, while Mr. B is very polite and always cheers us on with smooches and a wagging tail.
Do you think your pup is more of a Goofy or a Pluto?

Miss M's very own pet!

Havi is definitely a Pluto! So funny!

hahaha OH Mr B, I bet you know they make fun of you but you are too polite to burst the humans bubble ;)

Both of mine are Goofy - they both talk, manipulate, plot and scheme.

I always imagined having a "Pluto" but I think Ray is more of a "Goofy." He doesn't plot against us but he definitely has strong opinions and only tries to please us if the end result will please him.

lol! They are a riot. Melanie is definitely more like Goofy (if Goofy was a plotting scheming super genius) and Moe is definitely a Pluto. I think Heidi and Nemo are somewhere in the middle... or they're more like Mickey and Minnie. All big hearts and good deeds :D

Since it's the holidays, Badger is Scrooge McDuck, and Mushroom is Tiny Tim.

I think our Ian-dog is a Pluto. He is smart but very eager-to-please and totally 'attention' motivated.

Rosie is definately a Goofy. She gets whatever she wants. Whether it be the couch or my food. She will definately voice her complaint if she doesn't get her way. It has to be a female thing.

Ahahahaha! That is glorious! I would say Roxy is Goofy (she and miss M should meet for a drink sometime) and Cash is definitely Pluto. Cash would never ever think a negative thought about us, while I'm confident Roxy talks about us behind our backs to the cat.

Well, I think they all have elements of both :) So doglike and so human all at the same time.

brinks and bella resemble sloths more than anything. its more so now that its a bit cold. they just want to snuggle under their covers and come out only to use the restroom. now that i think about it they do this in the very hot weather too. im starting to wonder if they are dogs at all??

Braylon is definitely the Goofy and Hades is the Pluto, but I think that's the case with boys and girls! Girls are just SO much more high maintenance!

Annie & Pauls Mom said...

it always amazes me how much Paul is like Mr. B and Annie is like Ms. M!

So funny! I can definitely see Kaya & Norman as Goofy & Pluto, respectively. And BTW the head wrap with the ears is amazing!

Ba ha ha ha! I never thought about it before, but we have a Goofy & a Pluto too. Felix is practically human. Kol is decidedly canine.
