Pooches: Deja Vu Mr. B

Both Ms. M and Mr. B get really excited whenever we come home. The funny thing about Mr. B is that he gets so excited that he runs around the house and runs back to his tepee. He'll wait there until we release him from the tepee. If I'm sitting in the living room, Mr. B will run around me when he is released, jump over an ottoman and head back to his tepee. Then when I release him again, he'll do the same thing.

I wonder what this says about a dog's memory?

  4. haha, that is so cute!! i think mr. b gets so excited when you tell him "yes!", so he runs back to his teepee in order to elicit another "yes!" from you again.
if mr. b doesn't put a smile on your face, i don't know what will! he is just a big ray of sunshine. :)))
thanks for thinking of asa while she was in surgery yesterday. she did very well, and she's home resting from the effects of the anesthesia and such. she ate a half cup of kibble last night and a full breakfast this morning, so she's coming along nicely. :)

  6. I think it just means that Mr. B is goofy. Hey! When momma comes home PeeWee goes mental until he finds something to put in his mouth and then he runs around cracker dog with the toy instead of greeting momma. I just body slam. We each have our own way of showing love.

  11. He's so enthusiastic! How can you not love him! I'd be cracking up every time he did that.

As to what it says for his memory, well, I'm betting he remembers that you grin at him every time he does the whole routine!
