Daily Walk in 10 Pictures 4.6.11

We are very excited to get back into our weekly routine of extended family walks around the city. The pooches are very excited to smell what they missed in other parts of the city.
Mr. B is excited check out his favorite stairs and stoops.
While Ms. M is excited to be reunited with her adoring fans.
Now we can get more exciting shots for our daily walks. Though at times, Ms. M is a stubborn model
and she won't always do as you ask,
but sometimes we can find a nice shot in the mix.
While A was trying to get the pooches to pose next to each other, Mr. B had to walk away and sit buttocks to buttocks with Ms. M.
Since it is family walk, we tried to take some family portraits.

  7. That portrait number 2 is so clever, I'd print a copy and put it in a frame for the wall. Awesome!

  8. Great photos! We're feeling the hope of Spring here, too. That photo shoot by the fountain felt familiar.

Where is that fountain, anyway? It's beautiful!

You asked a while back about the Seven Wonders and why Wrigley Field was the only one in Chicago. The state was divided into seven sections and the people in each section had to choose one that they thought was the best in their area. Wrigley Field apparently beat out the Frank Lloyd Wright house and the Sears Tower. It was based on trying to get people to travel in the state and see different areas, so they couldn't let all of them be in one place, I'd imagine.

  10. You are right! That is quite a collection of collars that Mr. B is wearing in the first photo! All very stylish though I must say.

I have to tell you I'm addicted to your blog and Love on a six foot leash. I have to force myself not to turn on the computer until I get to work to look for your blog post. Otherwise I would be late to work every morning. And talk about disappointed when you haven't posted. The daily dose of photos makes my day. Keep it up!

  16. Oh, I just LUVS the shadow family portrait! You should hang that up in your house. Or the butt shot. Either one.

I also wanna say hip, hip, hooray! for the two sweet and adora-bull pups you all saved. It made me soooo happy that they're gonna have a life full of luv now. I'm sending big, wet, sloppy brindle kisses to all of you!

  18. Two Grad Students: Mr. B is wearing a purple harness from Petsmart, a plaid bowtie from SillyBuddy, and his standard blue skull collar. He's kind of like one of those kids who likes to wear all their clothes at the same time.
Houndstooth: The fountain is in Wicker Park. We go there often, though it's so much nicer with water.
Diane:Thank you so much for the kind words! That totally made our day!
