Yet, every so often Miss M gets this urge to lay on the couch. As we documented before, she has a whole process so she won't get caught. She sleeps with one eye open:
Retreats:
And pretends she was laying in the bed the whole time:
I think it shows intelligence that she is going through such planning not to get caught.Though the other day, the retreat did not go as expected:
She tried to act like nothing was wrong, and ate her dinner as normal:
So now we're back to foil on the couch. Or at least until Miss M can scheme a new plan:
I needed that morning laugh!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Debra! I needed that this morning! Poor Miss M. If not for that sticky pillow, she would have gotten away clean!
ReplyDeleteThat was hilarious! Does the foil actually work, because I can't get anything to stop my dogs. As soon as I am out the door, they settle into a comfy couch and wait until I pull into the drive. I never catch them up there...but the hair on couch gives them away!
ReplyDeleteHilarious post! Thank you so much to put a smile on my face!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a clever girl! I love your blog :)
ReplyDeleteOh Miss M, I needed that laugh this morning!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh!! This is hilarious. It reminds me of the guilty dog photo where he is wearing the lid to the trash can, haha. Busted, Miss M - so sorry.
ReplyDeleteOh my dawg, mom is laughing so hard
ReplyDeleteLily
hahaha I love the pillow still hanging from Ms M as she eats dinner. that is great lol definitely needed the laugh! Thank you :-)
ReplyDeleteThe foil worked for awhile, especially for Miss M who is sensitive about having things touch her fur. Though one day Mr B, who can be kind of a brute, just sat on the foil, and it didn't work for him after that.
ReplyDeleteWhat about a piece of furniture just for them like an over sized chair or loveseat?
