5 Awesome Things

Yesterday, we watched this Ted talk by Neil Pasricha, in which he talked about his blog and the origin of his blog, 1000 Awesome things. Easily we can come with 5 awesome things from our pooches:
1. Having someone to talk to.
When A isn't around, it is nice to have someone that will give you his/her undivided attention.
2. A fuzzy face to wake up to.
I'm so lucky to wake up to A on one side and the fuzzy face of Mr. B on the other. Though I could do without his mackerel breath.
3. Laying out with others.
My favorite weekend activity is laying out in the sun and it is so much better to have others to lay out with me.
4. A partner in crime, though skateboarding is NOT a crime.
A has never been on a skateboard and probably will never be, but I'm lucky that Mr. B makes such a great skateboarding partner.
5. Having another best friend.
Mr. B, my second best friend...though unofficially, he is my best friend and A is a close second.

Who wouldn't want Mr B as a best friend! I could relate to almost all of your awesome things and replace your pups with one of mine, except skateboarding. Flash would probably like it if given the opportunity.

Those are 5 awesome things!
I have the same question as Mr Pip, does Mr B ride a skateboard or is he just there for moral support?

Ha ha! You can say it and I won't tell! Actually, I think one of the most endearing things about my husband is how much he loves his dog!

Just discovered your blog! I love the beautiful photos and obvious love that you share with your pups. Our situation is similar to yours, but our adoptees are rescued Rotties, an equally misunderstood and maligned breed. Thanks for helping to get the word out about these wonderful and under appreciated companions

Those were great! More than awesome :D Can I come sun with y'all too?

Mom tried on some roller skates at a garage sale recently. Thought it would make it easier to keep up with me on walks. Laughed my tail off I did! She looked like a drunk tryin to moonwalk BOL! Needless to say, she didn't buy them. Something about needing to lower her health insurance deductible first ;)

Waggin at ya,
Roo

I adore this blog and look forward to reading the daily entries before I leave for work each morning. I just started a blog about my own pit mix, adopted from the same rescue as Ms. M (I was actually a founder of that organization as well). please check it out if you are interested...thanks for doing what you do!

Mr. B doesn't actually ride the skateboards, but he does run alongside E when E is riding his skateboard. I've always wanted to try to teach him because he has a low center of gravity. This might become my summer project!
