DoggyStyle: Pitbulls in Party Hats & Birthday Cards

I've found I'm always scrambling to buy birthday cards searching to find the perfect pre-made card for each person. After a lot of frustration, I thought it might be more fun and personal to try making our own birthday cards with the pooches and print them using Moo.
When I found instructions on how to make these party hats, I thought they would look great on our pooches' big heads. And what better day to test out our photo shoot than New Year's when these would make a great conversation piece?
Behind the scenes: Miss M is always willing to wear anything if it gives her the chance to model and get more attention.
Even Foster dog Bessie-Belle, who had only come to live with us 2 days prior, was completely willing to walk around Chicago in a hat. Miss M had to get her Zoolander on.
We had plenty of people peeking out of restaurants to see the pooches and brighten their New Year's day. Sweet Bessie-Belle made an excellent model:
Though eventually the high winds made us come back in early before we could get many more photos.
I'm still trying to think of a clever caption to write on a birthday card. Any thoughts?

They are adorable. Bessie looks a lot like Jazzi's fur-sibling Addy. I just love their expressions. Sniffs, The HoundDogs

Okay, Ive been saying that the $3 cards from CVS that arent that funny anyway are annoying. I am totally stealing this idea! Thanks so so much!

Your dogs are beautiful! If I received a card with those faces on it, it would certainly make my day!

You should definitely use the pics for birthday cards. Unfortunately we do not have any clever captions. Bessie must be one laid back chick to wear her hat after being in your home for only two days. We have had no luck with models at our house other than Pauley.

Bessie is so adorable! ALL of you look fabulous in your party hats, too. We especially like that first pic as a greeting card - so colorful and fun. We'll put on our thinking caps and see if we can come up with a clever caption!

Okay, here's a few - very corny, but it's all we've got right now.
"We put these party hats on just for your birthday! There had BETTER be cake!"
or
"The party animals are here! Let the celebrating begin."
or
"Whose butt do we have to sniff to get a piece of cake around here?"

you could probably do a whole line of cards with the pictures you have. Could be a whole new side business. Because I know you have a LOT of free time :)

When I saw this on facebook this morning I was thinking you meant you were going to make some greeting cards to sell maybe to profit the rescue you work with. You could totally leave the inside blank or something simple and generic and do that to generate a little money for a rescue or other cause!

I LUVS the idea of putting their pictures on birthday cards. Me and my mom would Most Definitely buy them.

You know what else I LUV? That picture of E putting the hat on Miss M. Just too cute, cute, cute!

For a caption, how about "It's a pittie you're another year older!"
Maybe the more positive twist is "It's no pittie you're another year older!"

I would so buy a card with the last picture of Mr. B on it. I am smitten with him, such a handsome boy.

I love birthday hats on dogs! I had never considered making them into birthday cards though- genius! I'd caption that one: "I make birthdays look good. You make birthdays look even better. Touche."

I LOVE those hats! The dogs just look adorable in them! I don't think the caption matters because everybody will be staring at Mr. B.
