Pooches: His & Hers Dogs
When we were a one dog household, Ms. M was a spoiled dog. She received tons of attention and her favorite treats. Then Mr. B moved in and it became a different story. We are realizing that A and I have our favorites, but we don't feel guilty because both dogs are being loved. Ms. M will always be A's favorite. Before I came into their life, they were both single girls prowling around for single men/male dogs. Ms. M was basically this "feral" dog that A worked with and trained for several years to become the Ms. M that we know now with her lady like mannerisms. From the moment I found Mr. B on Petfinder.com, I knew that we were going to be lifelong best friends. On weekend mornings, he greets me with his big head on the side of the bed. He follows me all over the house and he watches me leave for work and waits for me to bike home. Though we like to complain about each other's favorite, overall they are both loved equally. It's funny, even our friends have their favorites. Females tend to love Ms. M and guys tend to enjoy the company of Mr. B.

The perfect family, you have to admit!
Sounds like our house! Flash is completely a mama's girl; but Ollie loves his daddy big time. Funny how they gravitate to one person more than another.
"prowling around for single men/male dogs" - my mom wants to know if A has read this post yet. BOL! Anyways, I can really relates to this cuz Brudder Ranger and me have our favorites, too. Brudder Ranger's favorite is my dad and my favorite is my mom. But we luvs them both equally. Isn't it funny how that works?
Wiggles & Wags,
Mayzie
I agree with mayziegal- I laughed @ that line too!
Petfinder rocks, doesn't it?
Did you ever write a post about joining the two pups into one home? That would be an interesting read...
in our house ish the opposite the girls love daddish and are total daddish girls and the boys love to be big babies wiff the mommish but like you shay we's all spoiled rotten and luved all around
pibble sugars
the houston pittie pack
It's the same at our house. Greighson is daddy's boy and Haleigh is mommy's girl. I think the dogs pick as much as we do; we're just more aware of our own decisions.
Too cute. Molly was with The Hubs way before me, so she was very much 'his' dog. She used to actually help him pick up girls! He'd point one out and she'd trot up to them looking so cute... luckily now she's just as much my dog as his so she doesn't do that anymore ;)
Our momma doesn't have favorates. She loving us both the same all in all. Only on some days she loves Mia more than me because...well... I get into more 'trouble', but thats only because Mia is b-o-r-i-n-g.
Wags and Woofs,
Mack and Mia
PeeS. Our momma said sorry for the deleted post earlier she has fat fingers and mispelled some of our words. What a LOSER.
How cute! favorites are fine as long as all are being loved!
I think because all dogs have their own different little ways, they are mostly all loveable. Some do have that little extra something.
I can't believe a sweetie like Miss M could remain single for very long with a face like hers!
Well, I was an only dog after my Raja crossed over the bridge and even though I got lots of attentions it was pretty lonely. I kind of like having PeeWee around. And momma is sure to give us each the kinds of attentions we love. Sounds like you two have a similar deal.
Slobbers,
Mango
Everyone needs a favorite. We only have one dog, but Farley has two people - and his DAD is his favorite :)
What a cute story..You are all so cute. Its nice you found one another
Benny & Lily
i am a mama's boy...asa is a daddy's girl. :D
*woof*
the booker man
To be honest I would find it so hard to choose between them- they both look like they have really distinct little personalities!
That's why our M refers to all of us, individually, as her favorites. We all know she adores us, but when she calls us her favorites, we must melt. We love Petfinder!
Twinkie
we have his and hers as well :) and then one left over...
Our dogs have favorites. Morgan doesn't leave Rob's side and Noah also sticks close to him. Samba won't let me out of her sight without a big fuss and Fudge, Norma Jean and Tess all seem to prefer me.
I always feel badly for my cockatiel because NO ONE prefers her over my colorful (personality-wise and physically) conure. And it will be tough to find a dog who can compete for attention with Levi because he's just so flashy.
