I can never tell if our pooches are more excited about the activity, or actually riding in the car, but I do know one of Miss M's favorite things is to watch out the window and let her jowl blow in the breeze:
Sure it's a generally harmless dog thing, but mostly because I'm this person I've realized it could be dangerous if our pooches get dirt, dust and debris in their eyes. Plus, isn't dog gear a great way to make our pooches more approachable? We ordered Doggles brand doggles in size large. They have one strap that fits under the chin and one that goes around the back of their head. Our pooches haven't shown any discomfort or tried taking them off (though they are used to wearing a lot of costumes).
We think Mr. B looks a bit like Tom Cruise back in his Top Gun days (pre-couch jumping):
Though Miss M looks a bit like an SNL character:
Though she won't let anyone tell her she's not fashionable and thinks she looks quite fab:
Has anyone else tried Doggles or seen any pooches sporting them around town?

Okay, this is about the cutest thing I've ever seen! I may or may not be purchasing some doggles post haste!
I had those for Cisco when she went blind, and Sam has a pair that look like aviator glasses. I love them!

I opened this and immediately started laughing hysterically. Chops never rides in a car so no Doggles for him, but please please please, a million pictures of this for all time, PLEASE.
Elka has a pair of Doggles! I bought them for our beach vacation this year, which ended up entirely cloudy and largely rainy, so we didn't end up using them. I put them on her once in awhile, but haven't really done the work to acclimate her.
I do dearly love pictures of dogs in Doggles!
Miss M and Mr. B really know how to sport those doggles. Those look like they may be a good idea for Apollo, since he likes to ride with his head sticking out of the car (kinda like Miss M, but less jowly)
Athena hasn't yet figured out how to stick her head out the window, so we don't need any doggles quite yet! But, they are pretty hilarious so we might just have to get a pair to make her look at cute as Ms. M and Mr. B!
Lol! Those doggles are too much! I might have to try to get some doggles too!
omg! i love your blog (and pups) so much, and i often smile or chuckle at the pics and posts, but this one had me guffawing in a public space! these pics might be the best thing in the world right now.
You guys are hilarious

Lookin' great in the Doggles! Two of my blind girls, Hiker and Brook have Doggles (bright pink!) and soon the new blind puppy Breeze will get a pair. With all our wilderness adventures, they are fantastic and makes me more at ease and not so worried about potential hazards/eye injuries for the blind ones.
The most precious thing we have seen in a long time! We lve it 100 fold!
We have them! Melvin wears them on walks as they cut back on his peripheral vision and he is less reactive (to things he can't see)!
I wish you hadn't posted about this. I am always lusting after unnecessary accessories for my pups and had already considered these... I've never seen anyone in public with them but now I might have to...
Oh my gah! They are so cute in Doggles! I have to my Izzy a pair now!
