Because we're all really tired of living it.
We just survived our second(!) Polar Vortex, with highs in the negatives and wind chills of -40(!!).
This has been dubbed one of the Top Ten Worst Winters in Chicago measuring all the way back to the 1800's.
And it's only January.
But, the pups still need to be walked.
I read somewhere that the clothes we wear can positively impact how we think and act: if you dress up you will act more professionally. Just by wearing workout clothes, you are more prone to go to the gym.
So we tried it with the pups:
Can dressing in fun winter clothes actually convince us that we're enjoying this weather?

where did you get Mr. B's hat? I love it!
So cute! I'm looking forward to summer JUST so you all don't have to deal with anymore snow!! It'll be here before you know it!
Maybe I will try a hat on my "Katie Bear" and see if that encourages her to go out.
Do you think the hats help them keep warm? They are super cute!
Did it work for A & E? I hope so! Hope it warms up soon!
Thanks everyone! @Andrea Joy and Irene Friedland, the pups are wearing hats from the kids' section at Old Navy. I don't know that they do keep them any warmer, but they are fun for photos. They actually have a dog snood with little ears that is a bit more practical and cute...we wrote more about it here: http://pittiesincity.blogspot.com/2014/01/pooches-how-to-dress-your-dog-for-cold.html
OG: We are trying to hypnotize ourselves since the weather has been so miserable. Though it did make it up to 20 degrees today and it felt tropical!
I absolutely love those outfits!
It was 22 degrees here this afternoon and didn't feel that bad! Glad you're warming up too. :)
