Things to Do in Chicago with Dogs: SuperDogs take on Wrigleyville

As part of our fundraiser to help fosterdog SuperLevi find his (super)vision, we had a renegade superhero-themed dogwalk at Chicago's famous Wrigley Field and meandering through the surrounding Wrigleyville neighborhood. Imagine what people thought when they saw 20+ pooches, dressed in varying superhero gear, on a seemingly normal day. Here is our 70's style video featuring all of the Superpooches, showcasing their supertalents, and our walk through Wrigleyville (plus a cool soundtrack!).

The Cubs were even nice enough to put a special message for us on the marquee. You can see how excited Jack was about that!

SuperLevi was so surprised as many of his friends popped out of nowhere to support him in his quest to find his (super)vision. We even had Bruce Wayne coming as Batman himself. And even some of New Leash on Life's current adoptable pooches hoping SuperLevi could use his talents to help them find their future homes.
The walk began at Wrigley Field taking us around the surrounding Wrigleyville neighborhood, Southport neighborhood and back to Wrigley Field. Even with so many pooches, and such a loud and exciting area, the pooches did an amazing job walking together as a pack. I think it also helps that their owners are always practicing focusing techniques.
It was so fantastic to see so many pooches out for an early morning stroll and supporting SuperLevi.
The support for SuperLevi has been so overwhelming, and the volunteers at New Leash are currently working to tally the results and organize the raffle entries. Stay tuned for the raffle results, and some exciting news at the end of the week!

I agree that even though it's such a bustling neighborhood, all the pups did SO well! Walking in the pack has helped Jack tremendously - I think he likes to show off how he can be a good boy in front of the other dogs!

Lily has a twin!! Who is that black pup with the white markings on their chest?

Wish we could've joined, though Lily and her dog walker had a fun time around Logan Square that morning!

WOW! How super duper WONDERFUL! Gosh, I wish I coulda been there in pawson. But it looks like one of my relatives (the brindle doggie with the Most Magnificent Ears) showed up in my place. Teehee! My paws are crossed that enough green papers have been raised for Levi's Super Sight.
