We recently made the revelation that our pooches were a bit like another set of similar-looking-but-not-twins characters:
Goofus and Gallant.
Just like Gallant, Mr B is kind and respectful:
While Miss M is a Goofus who does whatever she wants:
Let us show you what we mean...
Mr. B plans ahead and bundles up in weather-appropriate clothing:
While Miss M doesn't listen to weather reports but lets everyone know when she's cold:
Mr. B likes hanging out and he enjoys spending time with his people:
While Miss M is embarrassed to be seen with her Dad in public:
Mr. B likes to sit nicely and chew on his bone.
While Miss M also likes to sit...and chew on Mr. B's bone.

Rufus also refuses to listen to weather reports and then shivers dramatically once he's outside in the elements. Turk, on the other hand, realizes that it's important to bundle up on a chilly day. Turk loves his humans, Rufus just realizes that we are useful for our opposable thumbs. :) PS - I love Ms. M's face so much. I just want to squish her.
Reminds me of Martha & Gus, my two Boston Terriers. But no one can top Miss M's facial expressions. Priceless!
Badger and Mushroom are both Goofus and Gallant depending on the situation. Mushroom sits nicely for petting while Badger scares people off by smiling really big and wiggling a lot. But Badger loves snuggles and belly rubs while Mushroom will decide she's had enough after a bit and run off to chew her toys.
Rosie is definately a Goofus. Even though she is an only Goofus she commands all the attention and food. I think its a female thing..
That picture of Miss Goofus is too good. I would say Alfred is the Goofus of our bunch, but I think maybe they both are!
That pic of Miss M outside in the cold kills me...even when she's grumpy she's cute! And I love Mr. B in the furry hat!

Out of my 2, Kaya would definitely would be Goofus, she is my-way-or-the -highway for sure. Whereas Norman thinks everything is just hunky-dory.
