Ever since we moved into a place with so many hardwood floors, I try to compensate by providing extra cushions and beds for the pooches. Originally, we had a lot of floor pillows which were the perfect sizes for the pooches to perch.
We wanted to make sure each of our pups had space, so made some matching twin-style beds, ala Ozzie and Harriet:
Though we soon realized, even with separate beds they were just happier smooshing themselves into a single bed anyway.
Even the small ones:
So we decided to get one communal bed: Molly Mutt's size HUGE to comfortably fit both of them.
I'm curious how other paired pups do it.
Do your pups prefer single beds or just sharing one bed?

Ours have shared a bed maybe one time. They rarely get within in a couple feet of each other so they each have their own bed.
Only in winter do our two pups like to share a bed (but they're happy enough to touch each other on the couch all year long). Otherwise, they're warm enough on their own and prefer their own beds instead of adorable snuggles. So we leave two beds out at all times, and replace one of them in the winter with a larger one so they both fit. Of course, sometimes they smoosh together in the small one anyway!
I really, really wish our pups could settle enough together to lay on a bed. As it is, they just constantly play bitey-face on a single bed (until we separate them and then they go to their separate beds). I'm hoping as we continue to teach them and they get older perhaps they will settle where they can each lay down in the same room without wanting to play every second... it's definitely in my dreams haha.
Our boys have never actually laid on a bed unless I put them on it. To them, the beds are more of a giant toy - like a sparring partner.

We do enjoy seeing you two sharing one of many cool pillows
Benny & Lily
Mine like to share the same bed, at different times!
We have a lot of beds but Kaya & Norman like to share also. They mostly just use their beds(more like memory foam mats) for chewing on things but they still like to share often. They do most of their real sleeping on the couch or bed which just turns into an awesome dog/human/cat pile up:)
Mine rarely share, and certainly not like your two boofas!!! I think Bender would like to snuggle more but Barbie likes her personal space. We have a couple of big Rogz beds that are big enough for both dogs to curl up on without touching.
I wish Boomer and Dottie would share a bed, that would be too cute! But, instead Dottie has three beds scatters through out the house and Boomer who refused to sleep on beds hangs out on the loveseat or the floor.
Love the one of them in their crate.
My two pretty much sleep separate.
