Pooches: Live Action Costumes & Campaigning

While A was busy taking pictures of the pooches:
I had a lot of fun taking videos with the Flip.
In the first video, Mr. B and I are sizing up our competition at the Halloween Pet Parade; B is acting very turtle-like, while Miss M does an unconvincing job of being an angel:
On Halloween, we headed to Lakeview for the North Halsted Street Halloween Parade, where Ms. M worked hard campaigning for pit bulls. There were over thousands of people at the parade, and Ms M made sure to greet each and every one. Watch how much she wiggles and how happy she is to have the attention:

Her tail is going crazy fast!!! I love to see her so excited! I bet she did a grreat job campaigning! Who wouldn't want or love a pit bull after encountering your two!?

What a great day you all must have had! Petey is a major tail wagger too (but I try to stay out of slapping range - it hurts).

That Miss M sure does know how to work a crowd! All I heard were people saying "Oh, how sweet!" Not once did anyone say "YIKES! PIT BULLS!" Way to go!

Things I love about these videos:

1) The "Batman's" shadow
2) The can of Cheese Wiz A is carrying
3) Ms. M's enthusiasm for all her "fans"
4) Everything else :)

All those costumes are so great. I love how creative people get!

Ms. M. is totally greeting her public! And her public loves her! They look so cute in their costumes. When that dog checked out the doll sitting on that other dog's back in the first video, I cracked up. Levi has mistaken inanimate objects for real things before (like the fake miniature horse statue at the park).

We thinks they make some great ambassadors for the Pit Bull breed. We could take some lessons from the 2 of your for sure. The Hounddogs

Why is A holding a can of cheese whiz?
Miss M sure does work that crowd!

We use the cheez-wiz as treats. With so many other dogs, sometimes Miss M needs to remember to focus on me, which she will gladly do for food. I didn't even notice I was holding it; you are all so observant!

Thanks for sharing this! There is just a lot of happy in that scene. I bet you changed a lot of minds that day. Good job, Ms. M!

I can't watch these videos at work, which is probably a good thing.

We need to get Miss M on the ballot in 2012!

Miss M sure is getting lots of love and affection from her minions!! Just like the princess we know her to be! Thanks for sharing the great videos! I wish I'd known about the Lakeview parade since Halsted is just a few blocks away from me!

Awww! Her tail was going crazy! She should have gone as a politician for Halloween! I bet she could have gotten a lot of write in votes.

I really like our Flip camera, but I'd like to find some good video editing programs to do more with it.

How fun!! I'm so impressed that your pups do so well with all the excitement (and they look like they had a blast!)

PS-A, your post before your marathon about the marathon dreams made me laugh because I always have similar dreams before events. I've started dreaming about not finding the start line...
