This past weekend was warm enough for us to go on several errands with the pooches. Mr. B had on his coat, backpack and purple boots.
Ms. M is too good for a bag and wore her coat and green boots.
The following pictures were all taken with Mr. B's camera.
Now that the weather has gotten warmer, the pooches can actually see crosswalks and can find where to cross.
It is nice not having to climb over snow mounds to cross the street.
However, there are parts especially near our neighborhood that still needs to go through a deep thaw.
One problem with the deep thaw is
that all the debris, dog poop and such that was buries under 2 feet of snow is now coming out and littered all over our walks.
Hopefully all this dirty snow will be gone in the next two weeks.
A and I took turns going into The Butcher and Larder and Mr. B got a nice shot of A ordering some pate
and me buying steaks and sausages for our dinner with our camera tutor, M.

Hmmm....I want mom to go to the butcher!
Today is the first kinda warm day here for us so the snow will start to melt. Time for my muddy backyard :)
How fun!! I've never had the chance to see what our daily walks look like from the dogs' perspective and height. Now I want to know how you did that! Maybe I missed something, was away from the computer for a day, did Mr. M get a camera??
We're starting to thaw out up here too!

The worst part of winter is the dirty snow! Yuck!
Starting now after walks I will have to hose the boys off after walks because the dirt just sticks to them! Yuck!
The past few days, our temps have been in the mid to upper forties and more grass is staring to show in the backyard as the snow melts. Can't wait for it all to be gone so I can start going outside with the guys.
whoa whoa whoa. i have many questions. first, mr b has a camera?? how does that work? second, you have a camera tutor? how fun! how did you make that happen? and third (this one is more rhetorical)-- how can you stand the cuteness of miss m's neck that can't possibly be contained by a jacket?

Ugh, look at all that snow. What a mess. It's mostly melted here, but our backyard is on the north side of the house, so it's not all gone yet. The dogs are a total mess when we walk them in the park. It's just a swamp. I think it will all be gone after this week and hopefully the ground will dry out.
I hate when all the crap people thought would disappear in the snow comes to light :(

Snow litterbugs are not cool.
I think Mr. B's camera skills are definitely improving! You can tell he's getting more practice, the photos have a certain composition they didn't quite have before :) I have no doubt they'll be selling for $$$ in galleries soon.
Yes, Mr. B actually has his own camera that he sometimes brings on walks. It attaches to his collar and we can set it to go off at 1 minute intervals. This walk wasn't that interesting, but when a lot of people are out, he gets some interesting photos--things low to the ground that we never notice. We wrote more about his camera here: http://pittiesincity.blogspot.com/2010/07/pooches-mr-b-photojournalist.html
Since I'm still so overwhelmed with our new DSLR, E's friend came over to help me with some things. I'm still playing around, but hope to be able to post some photos from the new camera soon.
I owe you an email on the matter too. Consider me your e-coach and question answerer (as much as i can).
Mr. B and Miss M are so stylish in their coats and boots! And I'm very impressed with Mr. B's photography skills. He is a pooch of many talents.
I just luvs posties that have Mr. B's artistic pictures in them! And I like how Mr. B was keeping his eye on you in the butcher shop.
Oh, and guess what? We won one of those doggie cameras so hopefully I'll get to play with it soon!

I still love the doggy cam!
We love Mr. B's "slant" on photography. He has quite the eye :)

Miss M and Mr. B look so jaunty on their outings! I envy you being able to all go on your errands together that way, but I don't think I miss the grime of the city at all. I am hoping Spring really is just around the corner!
Thanks for taking us along on the enjoyable walk

Doggie cam? Where do I get one?!? Seriously. That is SO COOL!!!! And we had a spring thaw (40 degrees). Now it's snowing HARD. (We're happy about that, actually!)
Seriously, tell me more about the doggie cam!
-Dr. Liz (the girls had a tough day at daycare!)
Oh my gosh - you just brought back 2 memories:
1) All that poop that gets left behind after the snow mountains melt (YUK)
2) Our Raven used to have to climb to the TOP of the snow mountain to poo. This made for a tough poop collection, but we did it!
Mr. B has become quite the shutterbug! The last two had an artistic flare to them :D
Great outfits. Y'all are the stylinist doggies on the street :D
Um, may I come with you next time you visit the butcher?
Hopin the dirty snow gets scooped away fur ya real soon,
Roo
