Win a Date with Your Dog: Long Walks, Pop-up Picnics, and Doggy Ice-Cream GIVEAWAY CLOSED

Maybe it's from watching too many episodes of The Bachelor, but one of my favorite summer activities has been to explore a new-to-us park complete with a surprise pop-up picnic for us all to enjoy at the end.
We've learned that one way to make these types of 'dates with our dogs' more impromptu is to have a pre-packed bag that we can just grab on our way out.
So we were super-excited when FROSTY PAWs contacted us about a giveaway of an insulated Frosty Paws backpack packed with all the supplies you need to take a stroll and a picnic with your pup.
It includes:
-An insulated human backpack to keep you and your pups' food cool
-A stainless-steel dog water bottle
-A collapsable food/water bowl
-An insulated food container that can be frozen, and it stores two Frosty Paws ice-cream treats
-A bone-shaped dog waste bag holder
-A coupon for free Frosty Paws (Frosty Paws is available at most human grocery stores in the ice cream aisle)
We like that the bowl, water bottle and waste bag holder all come with clips so you still have room to pack your own human lunch and throw in a picnic blanket.
Frosty Paws has generously given us 4 supply-filled backpacks to give away. There are 2 ways to enter, and each person can enter 2 times.
We love exploring our city and having pop-up picnics.
What would you plan to do with your pup if you won a Frosty Paws backpack?

1) Let us know by commenting on our blog post here
2) You can also enter by posting a photo on our Facebook page of your pooch and letting us know what you would do together if you won a backpack. (And we always love seeing your dog photos!)
3) Winners will be chosen at random using a random number generator

Details:
-You have two chances to win by commenting once on the blog and posting a photo once on our Facebook page.
-We will use a random number generator to randomly choose two winners from blog comments and two winners from the Facebook page.
-You have until Sunday (July 14) at Midnight (EST) to post your comment or photo
-Check our Facebook page and blog the following week for the announcement of winners. If you are a winner, please contact us with your mailing information so we can ship the bag out to you.
-Winners must live within the contiguous United States

Good Luck Everyone!

PS. We only offer giveaways for products we would actually buy and use ourselves and that we think would be valuable for dog owners

We'd do a picnic down by the river. We took the puppy dog for a walk there last weekend and I commented that I'd love to bring a picnic with us. We just need to get a dog backpack so the pup can share the load!

Wow how cool is this! If I won,I would love to take my two pitties on a hike to a canyon preserve I have been wanting to do for about a year now. We have our paws crossed on this one. We've been trying to win one of these from some other blogs too and have not been lucky yet.

We deleted our first comment because momma forgot to paw about what we would do. We would make sure our mom and dad take us to a nice park where we can sit and enjoy some frosty paws.

I live in Canada, but we are coming up to Chicago this summer as part of a road trip. We would begin by using the backpack in and around Chicago; having picnics in parks, site-seeing, and taking Ronnie (the puppy) on the Canine Boat Cruise. We would use it for camping trips, and cottage stays, hikes through national parks. We bring him with us everywhere we go, so it would even be useful for quick car-trips to the dog park, for puppy play dates, or for coming to watch us play softball.

Fellica Hupp said...

I would use it for my puppy marshmellow. She and I like walking around downtown and there is a long sidewalk path that goes down to the riverfront. It be great for her to use and I can put snacks for her to eat. I would like to put some tennis balls and a plush toy for her to play with when we find some benches to sit at.

My incredibly handsome pup Wilson loves long walks in the park and weekend camping trips near the creek. He'd love this gift set!

My older dog Jessie is eight weeks into a 12-week recovery from ACL surgery, and despite being nearly 12, she greatly misses being able to run, play ball and chase her sister. One of her favorite places on the planet is a little dog beach by us -- it's maybe a mile walk down a wooded trail to get to the water, and she loves the walk, and especially loves to play ball in the water once we hit the beach. My younger dog also loves the water and ball, but I feel bad taking her without her sister, so we've had no beach trips this summer. If all goes well, Jessie will be "beach ready" by mid-August, and I'm sure she'd love a beach picnic with her sister, along with ball playing, cold water to drink between chases, and Frosty Paws for dessert! It would be a great way to celebrate her recovery!

My pups love to go everywhere especially the park or my parents. With having the pack it would make it easier to go and my 11 year old son would love it so while I'm at work a=he can take the pups on a walk by the river that is right by our house and take their stuff with him.

Rachael said...

French bulldog Wally would use the backpack to stay cool while watching his mom run in the Chicago Marathon!

Heather Hunter said...

We would use everything to enjoy on our walks, trips to the dog park, and when traveling to visit family! We live on a military post and our pup loves going with us to explore the trails around the area. She loves being outdoors and playing in the water! One of her favorite treats is Frosty Paws. She sits at the freezer door waiting for her pupcream when we come back inside after a long day of playing and exploring outside!

Petey always hogs the blanket when we have picnics or go to the beach.
I'm sure he'd love to have a backpack. We'd use this to walk down Columbia Street (now the gentrified Columbia Waterfront in Brooklyn) to go to Brooklyn Bridge Park.

Mylo and I love going to Lake Michigan in St. Joseph Michigan. Having this backpack would be so convenient for the beach or for our bike rides.
