Pooches: Mr. B is 'Framed'

Our family has a mystery, that still to this day, was never solved. Someone ate all the Halloween candy that was supposed to be given to Trick-or-Treaters. All of the wrappers were found in the trash can in my older sister's bedroom, yet she claims she didn't eat the candy. To this day, she still holds to the story that I ate the candy and put the wrappers into her trashcan to 'frame' her. But I didn't. And she still won't admit it.
Then this happened in our house:
We came home to find this empty food container in Mr. B's tepee. We don't keep any food in it, so it really was just an empty container, but the pooches know that they're not supposed to mess with our stuff when we're gone.
Like my sister, Mr. B was so upset because he would never do anything like this. It must have been Miss M who was playing with our stuff, then decided to drag it into Mr. B's tepee to frame him. Because, doesn't that sound like something sneaky Miss M would do? And wouldn't you believe Mr. B?
Then we remembered...Miss M was locked in her crate the whole time:
Plus, Mr. B has this habit of hoarding. But of course, this doesn't sound like something Mr. B would ever do. So maybe this will be a new family mystery that will never be solved.Who would you believe? Team Miss M? Or Team Mr. B?

I'm gonna have to go with Team Miss M, unless she has managed to figure out how to unlock her crate. Mr B looks kind of guilty to me.

I'm sorry to have to inform you, but you have poltergeists.

Both Mr. B and Miss M. have clearly been traumatized by the events that transpired while you were away.

You'd better call the ghostbusters.

I have to say I believe THEY have both been framed. I think you guys did it and blamed it on M & B!!!!!! :)

poor mr. b, always being framed. it's obvious that miss m slipped out of her crate, framed mr. b, and then locked herself back in. that girl is so clever!

I think it's ghosts too. Mr. B looks way too upset to be guilty.

I want a teepee! Where did you find them?

In these situations, Sophie blames the cat (no, we do not have a cat.) Either that or a ghost. Not poor Mr. B, look at that innocent face!

maybe Miss M can lock and unlock her crate...

You can't make me choose between them! I also think it was a ghost. You know, I did read a story once about an orangutan at a zoo who kept some sort of pin in his cheek and every night would use it to get out of his enclosure and wander around the ape house. Then he would lock himself back in safe and sound before th keepers arrived. You should set up a nanny cam to see if Ms. M is up to a similar trick.

Well it sounds like Mr B maybe innocent if there are in fact Ninja Hedgehogs in the vicinity, otherwise with Miss M in her crate, its a hard sell.

I'm voting for an outside intruder who decided that it was best to blame the dogs. There is no way that either of them could have perpetrated such a series of crimes. We have had home invaders in years past who have been known to steal steaks off the kitchen counter - these same criminal masterminds have clearly moved to Chicago. Just saying...

(The girls are off at daycare (the fans drying out the flood on the bottom floor are loud and drive Fi nuts, so I thought they'd appreciate a break - and a chance to go wild), but I'm making the rounds.)

Now why would Mr. B ever do that? He is obviously innocent!

Sorry but as Sherlock Bob I have to
say Mr B is guilty. Miss M is inocent. Unless she can walk through bars.

I have to choose one? Um, I'm pretty sure a squirrel snuck in from the balcony and moved it when he was looking for nuts or something and framed Mr. B, who probably then ran him back out the door! Yeah, that's the ticket! I'm sure if you check the door, you'll find a hole in the screen or that the latch isn't holding tightly.

Sadly, I think it was Mr B....only logical really. UNLESS he let her out, they ate together and then he lured her back into her crate. Ok farfetched, I know.
Arwen used to go into Raven's crate when she was still alive and vomit in her crate. It's like she knew she didn't want it anywhere else, but Raven's crate would do. poor Raven always looked so mystified to find it there. I never would have known if I didn't catch Arwen in the act.
