The next thing we never expected, was that our online community would become real as we've been lucky enough to meet people in real life who recognize the pups from online.
Miss M is known to climb right into your lap!
Our first in-person sighting was here. When we were walking back after the parade, we heard someone yelling out "Mr. B! Mr. B!". We had to laugh along with him as he said meeting the pups in real life was like being in New York and meeting celebrities as you walk down the street.

Now we're realizing maybe Chicago isn't such a big city after all. During the summer the pups were able to meet people who read about them at many of the parades, festivals, Farmer's Markets, daily walks and even outdoor movies . We have had people yell out "Miss M and Mr B"! as driving by in cars (Hello!). Miss M and Mr. B LOVE meeting people, and it's fun for us to see our pups so loved! The funny part, is that everyone knows so many details about our pups, but we also don't share much information about ourselves. We are just kind of the people holding the leashes, and we always wonder if we fit what people expected about us.At the same time, we think it is so great when people come over and say hello, because I know I would be a bit shy about introducing myself if I met someone from a blog I read.
Thank you so much everyone for saying hi, and showing us Chicago might just be a small town after all!

I am so glad I got to meet you all in real life! While Mr. B and Ms. M are QUITE the celebridogs, meeting you and E was pretty awesome too! :)

Cute! They are Celebridogs! Nola JUST asked the Dude from Love and a Six Foot Leash how to become famous. She should have asked Mr. B and Ms. M's advice too!
I have actually considered taking a trip to Chicago from Maryland to meet the infamous Miss M and Mr B. I'd also like to travel to Texas to meet Chick and Doodlebug too.
Kuddos to your for keeping them grounded despite their celebrity-dog status! If I ever see you, I hope I can contain myself to calling our your names first!!!
Oh man I keep hoping that I will cross paths with Miss M and Mr. B! They are my celebrity dog crushes!
If ever I make it to Chicago, you better believe I will have an eye out for these pooches! It's SO awesome how popular Ms M & Mr B have become!! Keep it up!
It's really cool that people recognize Mr. B and Miss M from the blog. I'm not sure how I would approach someone if I recognized them, I can be a little shy in person about that sort of thing and wouldn't want to come off as a stalker!
By the way... love the first photo!
I would absolutely LOVE to meet Miss M and Mr. B (and y'all too :). I've only been to Chicago once and it was before I started reading your blog, but the next time I go, I will be on the lookout for those cute pitties. It would make my day. I think going up to dogs (and their owners) you know from a blog would actually be less intimidating than going up to just people. Dogs just make everything more friendly and relaxed!
that's really awesome. you have 2 bone-afide celebrities.
How cool that Miss M and Mr. B are so well known in their home town! Having a dog is really a great way to talk to so many people that it makes a big city seem smaller. Riley and I have talked to so many people and met so many pups on our daily walks (but we gave up this afternoon with the snowstorm!).
If I ever saw Miss M and Mr.B in real life I think I would faint, as I would if I were to encounter Tom Hanks or Meryl Streep.
That is funny cause when mom went to Chicago she had her friends looking for Mr B and Ms M

I'm to the extreme that I think my perception of Chicago is all through the eyes of Mr. B and Miss M. =)
