As with the start of all walks, he will run back and forth around the house with the stuffy and once the leash is on, he will grab the stuffy and sprint out the door.
The reason why we don't let him to take the stuffy on a walk, is that once we get outside, he will lose interest, dump it in the nearest mud puddle, and then it will be either A or me carrying a stuffy on the rest of our walk.
Surprisingly, this walk Mr. B carried his stuffy for almost a 1/4 mile. Then it appeared as if he got bored or his jaw became tired of holding onto such a heavy stuffy or
he just lost track of it.
Though he enjoyed finding his stuffy on his head, he was more excited by pets on the head.
Does anyone else have a pup who carries their own toys on walks?

That is a huge stuffy! Eddie isn't interested in toys outside. Gambit will sometime carry a stick for about 20 feet but then he smells or sees something and forgets about it.
Oh, Mr. B, you always bring smiles!

haha I love the stuffy on Mr. B's head - He really is adorable. That definitely brought a smile to my face. :-)
Our gal is SO PROUD of herself when she can nab a stick when we're not looking and will basically prance with it. Unfortunately, half a block later she will attempt to wander into the grass to lie down with it for a chew.
That said she's also walked with this weird egg-shaped fleecy stuffed thing she got for graduating puppy class. She'll even hold onto it while going #1!
The look of intent on his face is pure wonderfulness! Perfection!
How cute is this? I've never had a dog want to carry stuffies on walks but my mom's dog used to walk himself by carrying his own leash.
Mr B did your stuffie have a nice walk

I love seeing pups walk with their toys - it's so cute! Sadly, Chick hates her toys. She wants nothing to do with them.
My sheltie mix Winston always carries a toy on his walks - as soon as I get the harness out he grabs a toy. I have a bag on my fanny pack to put it in when he drops it. Sometimes he carries it for the whole walk. It's the cutest thing.
That is too cute, I bet you get a lot of smiles when he's walking with his stuffie:D Kaya will find a ball on hikes and carry it for miles. On one hike she had two in her mouth and kept on repositioning because it must have been so uncomfortable but she refused to leave one behind!
Mr. B is way too cute! My boy likes to grab his when we go for a ride but he always drops it when we get into the car.
