Pooches: The Rat Problem

Several months ago, A and I went on a little road trip to Ikea to buy cabinets for the office.
When we were about to leave the kids section, we heard a husband yell to his wife, "who would buy these rats?!" The cheap little rats sounded like the perfect new friends for Mr. B. Thinking that they were about to be sold out, we quickly turned around and zigged and zagged with our cart through multiple families to get to the enormous bin full of rat stuffys.
Though A has an issue with our numerous rats in the alley, she has no qualms about finding random rats laying around our home. Everyday, we will find one hanging out in a different part of our home telling where the pooches have been.
The only disgusting thing is that Miss M loves chewing and licking the rat tails, so if we step on rat tails the bottom of our sock or bare feet will be soaked in cold Miss M saliva.
Despite this fact, we know how much Mr. B loves his new friends, and endure the wet socks for his happiness.
Plus, they are the perfect friends for both Miss M and Mr. B, though sometimes they want to love them at the same time.

They are the cutest stuffies! My girls would love them especially since Pepper tried to make friends with a real one in our alley. HaHa!

My cats' favorite toy is an old stuffed ferret with a bell inside. He's disgusting after all this time, and it's quite disconcerting to find him tucked in your bed at night, but they love him, so he stays. :-)

That might be the cutest thing ever! I think we'll have to make a run down to Ikea to snag some!

I love this post! IKEA use to sell smaller stuffed rats. I bought one for my pittie boy and he swallowed it whole! He has a thing for not only destuffing his stuffies (we call them "babies"), but for also actually EATING them. Which obviously, has limited what kind of stuffies we can give him.

We have an entire mischief of Ikea Rats toys. I was amazed the first time we found IKEA toys. They have those nice dog friendly embroidery eyes and man! You just can't beat that price. Felix loves the big floppy oversize ones, but Koly loves the little ones.

Love the stuffed rats from Ikea, sadly, they didn't last too long in our house because number two black dog Bundy decided that unstuffing them was the only way to love them.

How cute!! I'm pretty sure they're going to be tail-less rats soon.

Those are really fun toys. I'm guessing in the dark the first night or two after their purchase could be a little frightening ;)
